Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Woodbridge, VA

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll collaborate with dedicated educational professionals near Woodbridge, VA, just a short drive from the Washington DC area. This on-site role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload over a 185-day contract, ensuring no two days are exactly the same. Your contributions will be vital to students’ academic and personal growth as you help them achieve their speech and language goals.

Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Virginia
• Experience working in schools or with school-aged populations preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Willingness to work exclusively on-site; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available
• Prepared to initiate a Virginia Department of Social Services background check immediately upon acceptance
• Ability to complete a VA TB test before the start date

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy and related services for a varied caseload
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Maintain thorough and accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements
• Consult and participate in IEP meetings, as needed
