Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations strongly desired
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of IEP implementation and documentation standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with a range of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Conduct screenings and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Participate in ongoing professional development and remain current with best practices and district policies
