School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Woodbridge, Virginia

You'll collaborate with a supportive education team to help students reach their fullest potential in both academic and social settings.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license for the state
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY supervision
• Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations, ideally within an educational setting
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Excellent interpersonal, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse learning styles and needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and comprehensive evaluations
• Develop, implement, and track personalized therapy plans and progress for each student
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure integrative support
• Participate in IEP meetings, provide input and documentation, and update goals as needed
• Deliver both individual and small-group therapy sessions in accordance with students' IEPs
• Maintain clear, timely records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
