Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for the state
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations, ideally within an educational setting
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse learning styles and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and comprehensive evaluations
- Develop, implement, and track personalized therapy plans and progress for each student
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure integrative support
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide input and documentation, and update goals as needed
- Deliver both individual and small-group therapy sessions in accordance with students' IEPs
- Maintain clear, timely records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
