Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid SLP license (or eligibility) in the state of Virginia
  • Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred, but strong new graduates encouraged to apply
  • Prior experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable collaborating within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Provide targeted therapy using evidence-based practices in individual and group settings
  • Maintain ongoing data collection and progress monitoring to adjust interventions
  • Communicate proactively with staff, families, and administrators to support student success
  • Contribute to student support teams and participate in meetings as needed
  • Ensure all services and documentation meet regulatory requirements and deadlines
