Step into a rewarding role supporting students as part of a dedicated school-based SLP team for the upcoming academic year! This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact on students’ communication skills in elementary and secondary school settings across Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge within Prince William County.

You’ll work onsite, contributing your expertise to a collaborative educational environment where your insights are valued and your professional growth will be supported. This position runs from August 17th, 2026 through June 12th, 2027, operating 35 hours per week (7 hours per day).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Virginia SLP License (required)
  • SLP-CCC credentials or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Previous school-based SLP experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student outcomes
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language pathology services to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop, review, and monitor IEP goals in partnership with parents and school staff
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress notes
  • Participate in student support meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for all students
