You'll be supporting students across schools within 45 minutes of Washington DC, with three days each week spent on-site and two days working from home handling meetings, documentation, and virtual therapy.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Virginia SLP license (required)
  • Experience providing speech therapy in school settings is strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms is a plus
  • Willingness to complete a VA Department of Social Services background check and TB test promptly

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy, both in-person and virtually, to a varied caseload of school-aged children
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Offer consultative services and participate in IEP meetings, both on-site and virtually
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of students
