Step into a rewarding opportunity working with local students as a Hybrid Speech-Language Pathologist in the Washington DC Metro area. This full-time, contract role supports a dynamic school district with services needed for the upcoming academic year—beginning August 3, 2026, and ending May 26, 2027.
Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid schedule, spending three days per week onsite supporting students across a range of ages, and two days working from home on meetings, evaluations, and virtual therapy. What We’re Looking For:
- Active Virginia SLP license (required)
- Previous experience in school-based settings as a Speech-Language Pathologist encouraged
- Comfortable working with varied caseloads, including different age groups and multiple school assignments
- Skilled in both face-to-face and virtual service delivery models
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to initiate credentialing processes promptly (including a VA Department of Social Services check and TB Test)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy sessions in-person and virtually
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate effectively with school staff, teachers, and caregivers
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and paperwork as required by district guidelines
- Participate in meetings (both on-site and remote) with multidisciplinary teams
