Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP license (or eligibility) for Virginia
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs considered
- Previous school-based experience is an asset but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, student-focused therapy services
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students with diverse needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Provide direct therapy and consultation across a variety of caseloads and age groups
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress, evaluations, and compliance records
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student success
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development
