Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY candidates considered
  • Previous experience in school settings is preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Passion for making a positive impact in students’ lives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support educational goals
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with IDEA and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Provide support and training for school personnel on communication strategies
