Exciting contract opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a rewarding experience working with K-12 students. This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week and an inclusive environment where Clinical Fellows are also welcome to apply. The caseload spans across kindergarten through high school, and there’s flexibility to discuss any preferences you might have regarding grade levels or populations. You’ll join a dedicated school-based team committed to supporting students’ communication and academic success.
Key qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship considered)
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers
Primary responsibilities:
- Manage a K-12 caseload, with consideration for candidate preferences
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Maintain documentation and progress notes that comply with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and parents to foster student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support students both in individual and group settings
