School Speech Language Pathologist - Woodford, VA

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• CCC-SLP preferred, but CFs will be seriously considered and supported
• Experience or interest in working in a K-12 educational setting

• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues, educators, and families
• Commitment to maintaining thorough records and meeting school-based documentation requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans coordinating with school staff and families
• Serve a diverse K-12 caseload throughout the school year, with assignments based on your strengths and preferences where possible
• Provide both direct therapy and consultative services as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, communicate student progress, and help shape individualized education plans
