School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Woodford, Virginia

Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting local students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time assignment offers 37.5 hours per week, working with a diverse K-12 caseload in a vibrant school setting. Two SLPs will be on maternity leave during this time, and your expertise is needed to maintain continuity of care and support student success.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure and ASHA CCCs, or in CFY under appropriate supervision
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in a school-based setting is beneficial
• Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy for a K-12 student population
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop IEP goals
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for student progress and compliance
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to support holistic educational plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress to families
