Exciting part-time opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with their CCC, eager to make a difference in a school-based environment! Starting in August 2026 and continuing through May 2027, this contract position provides the chance to work onsite with Pre K-8th grade students in a supportive and collaborative educational setting.

You’ll have the flexibility of a part-time schedule, working between 16-24 hours a week. This role allows you to directly impact young learners’ communication skills, helping them succeed academically and socially. Both part-time and full-time openings are available, so you can choose what fits your schedule best.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP-CCC certification
  • Previous school-based experience or strong interest in pediatric populations
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Eligible for state licensure in Alabama

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language services to students in Pre K-8th grade
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Maintain required documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support students in maximizing classroom and social success
