Make an impact in the lives of young learners as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a rewarding contract opportunity. Serving PreK and Kindergarten students with a manageable caseload of approximately 25-35 learners, you'll play a pivotal role in helping children reach essential speech and language milestones. Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license; open to candidates willing to obtain California licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience delivering speech and language therapy within a school environment
- Strong knowledge of strategies for early intervention and developmentally-appropriate practices
- Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students needing speech and language services
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to PreK and Kindergarten students
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to achieve best outcomes
- Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with all state and district guidelines
- Serve as a resource to staff regarding speech and language development in early childhood
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, parent conferences, and IEP reviews
