This onsite position is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about early intervention and eager to make a difference in children's communication development. You will be working with a caseload of approximately 25-35 young learners, fostering growth and progress throughout the academic year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience or strong interest in working within school-based settings
- Will consider out-of-state applicants ready to obtain their California SLP license
- Ability to engage and motivate early childhood populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized plans
- Monitor progress and provide timely documentation aligned with educational standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multi-disciplinary approach to student care
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging learning environment for every child
