Your knowledge in pediatric speech and language therapy will be instrumental in helping students develop effective communication skills and achieve academic success. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team of educational professionals, implement individualized treatment plans, and observe student progress throughout the school year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Colorado SLP license (or eligibility)
- Experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Ability to design and implement effective therapy sessions for school-aged children
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for elementary students
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students on-site
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Support students’ communication development within classroom settings
- Maintain compliance with school and state guidelines
