Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current SLP-CCC certification
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state
• Proven experience working in a school environment, especially with middle schoolers
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
• Passion for helping students overcome communication challenges

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech and language therapy to middle school students
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain detailed records of therapy progress and sessions in compliance with school and state requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure students’ needs are met
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert input on student needs and progress
