Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid license to practice as an SLP in Illinois
• Completion of or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Prior experience working with pediatrics, preferably in a school or healthcare setting
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations and tailoring interventions to individual needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language therapy services to students with a range of communication needs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to education
• Offer guidance and support to students at various stages of communication development
