Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication growth in a vibrant school community near Woodstock, VT. In this role, you'll provide speech-language pathology services to a diverse caseload of 30 students, ranging from pre-K through 6th grade. This assignment covers two friendly school settings and offers a consistent schedule during school hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for a total of 22.5 hours per week. The position begins September 3 and continues through June 10.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current and active SLP-CCC certification
  • State licensure (or eligibility) in Vermont
  • Previous experience with school-aged children, especially those with typical developmental needs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students across two elementary schools
  • Teletherapy is not included in this role; on-site presence is required

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students aged pre-K through 6th grade
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans according to IEP guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment for every student served
