Desired Experience and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous work experience in K-12 schools preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse student populations
- Excellent organization, time management, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and speech disorders in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective therapy plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records for students served
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reviews as an integral member of the support team
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to support students’ learning and engagement
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth and participation
