A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Pawtucket, RI, serving both an elementary school and an early learning center. This contract position offers guaranteed hours and a supportive work environment focused on delivering quality speech therapy services to children across multiple grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to students with diverse communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to speech-language pathology services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) completion.
- Prior experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with children across early learning and elementary age groups.
- Willingness to commit to a maternity leave contract, approximately 12 to 16 weeks.
