Key Qualifications:

  • Active or eligible Speech Language Pathology licensure (CCC or CFY)
  • Prior experience or strong interest in school-based therapy, particularly with K-8 students
  • Background working with severe and behavioral caseloads preferred
  • Adaptable communication and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Team-focused attitude and a readiness to collaborate with educators, families, and specialists

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with a range of speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Deliver individualized and group therapy aligned to students’ IEP goals
  • Track progress, document services, and regularly communicate results to families and staff
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and support staff to ensure coordinated care
  • Provide strategies and resources to staff and families to promote communication development
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
