Key Qualifications:
- Active or eligible Speech Language Pathology licensure (CCC or CFY)
- Prior experience or strong interest in school-based therapy, particularly with K-8 students
- Background working with severe and behavioral caseloads preferred
- Adaptable communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Team-focused attitude and a readiness to collaborate with educators, families, and specialists
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with a range of speech, language, and communication challenges
- Deliver individualized and group therapy aligned to students’ IEP goals
- Track progress, document services, and regularly communicate results to families and staff
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and support staff to ensure coordinated care
- Provide strategies and resources to staff and families to promote communication development
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
