Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Woonsocket, RI

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active state licensure as an SLP; CCC preferred but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
• Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings highly valued
• Proficiency or interest in delivering teletherapy services
• Solid understanding of IEP development, evaluation, and documentation
• Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ speech-language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy and intervention to students, both in-person and virtually
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families
• Maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to support student success
