Desired Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
• Experience or knowledge in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Ability to effectively assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for productive engagement with students, staff, and families
• Comfort working with high school-age caseloads and tailoring therapy to adolescent learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to high school students
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student success across academic and social environments
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by district and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert guidance and support for student accommodations and progress
• Monitor and document each student’s progress, adjusting therapeutic techniques as needed
