Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Worcester, MA. This full-time role is available for immediate start and extends through the end of the school year, offering a dynamic environment where your expertise can make a lasting difference. As an SLP with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), you'll work collaboratively with educators and families to help students achieve their communication goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current CCC-SLP certification required
  • Proven experience working as an SLP, preferably in a school setting
  • Thorough understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adolescents
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse learning needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
  • Work closely with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings
  • Monitor and document student performance, adjusting approaches as needed
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and participate in IEP meetings
  • Engage in ongoing communication with caregivers to foster student growth
