Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (or CFY supervision available)
  • Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and data collection
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to integrate therapy strategies into classrooms
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school protocols
  • Provide support and resources to teachers and families for student success
