- Experience in a school setting, including IEP development and delivery of direct therapy
- Strong communication and collaborative skills, with a knack for working alongside families and educational staff
- Organizational skills for effective caseload management and data tracking
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
- Document student progress and maintain necessary records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to support comprehensive student planning
- Engage with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate carry-over strategies for classroom and home environments
