This full-time role offers meaningful work with a caseload of 55-60 students in a supportive and dynamic school setting.
The academic year runs from August 20 to June 4, giving you the unique chance to follow the school calendar while fostering growth and communication skills in children and adolescents. Assignments are available across both elementary and secondary levels, with school hours typically from 8:30 am–3:15 pm (elementary) and 7:30 am–2:15 pm (secondary), providing a predictable day and the potential for a positive work-life balance.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current or eligible CCC-SLP certification
- Clinical Fellow (CFY) candidates welcome to apply
- Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience highly valued
- Comfortable providing teletherapy as needed
- Ability to manage a school caseload (approx. 55-60 students)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services to students with diverse needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and therapy interventions
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to special education processes
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
