Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC credential required
- Active (or eligibility for) state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
- Ability to develop rapport with students, parents, and staff
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of student assessments, treatment goals, and progress
- Provide education and resources to families and staff regarding speech and language development
- Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay current with best practices in the field
