Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP-CCC credential required
  • Active (or eligibility for) state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to develop rapport with students, parents, and staff

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each student’s unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student assessments, treatment goals, and progress
  • Provide education and resources to families and staff regarding speech and language development
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay current with best practices in the field
