Speech Language Pathologist in York, PA

This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to support children as a School Speech-Language Pathologist, focusing on communication needs that directly enhance both learning and social success.

You'll work with a caseload of 34 elementary students who are autistic, providing vital assessment, intervention, and collaborative services. The position begins as soon as possible and extends through June 4, 2026, with daily hours from 8:10 AM to 3:40 PM. Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Current credentials as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous experience working in school settings, ideally with elementary-aged children
• Background supporting students with autism and an understanding of their unique communication needs
• Commitment to creating inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environments
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for teaming with teachers, families, and administrators

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing speech, language, and communication abilities of students
• Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans
• Working closely with classroom teachers and support staff to ensure integrated service delivery
• Documenting evaluations, progress, and compliance reports in a timely manner
• Engaging with families to foster continuity between home and school
