Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students with autism for the remainder of the 25/26 school year. This full-time position involves fostering growth in both communication and academic skills, making a meaningful impact each day. Working a consistent schedule from 8:10 AM to 3:40 PM, you will be an essential figure guiding students toward success.

What You’ll Need:

  • An active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Previous experience in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children
  • Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and evidence-based approaches for communication needs
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and organizational abilities
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work with families, teachers, and support teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify communication challenges through formal and informal evaluations
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans to address unique student goals
  • Deliver both group and one-on-one interventions to enhance language, speech, and social communication
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, classroom staff, and family members to ensure consistency and provide support
  • Maintain compliance with IEP processes and document progress accurately
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to an inclusive, supportive school environment
