Job Type Contract

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across a dynamic and inclusive school district. This role is ideal for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about empowering K-12 learners and enjoy working on-site with diverse caseloads.

Two full-time positions are available, focused on delivering high-quality speech and language services throughout the academic year. The assignments range from elementary to secondary settings, where you will collaborate with educators and families to help students succeed in both regular education and specialized support programs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology certificate and teaching certification (required with initial application)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience providing SLP services in a school-based setting
  • Strong commitment to fostering communication and academic growth for students with varying support needs
  • Ability to manage diverse caseloads and complete relevant documentation
  • Exceptional teamwork, communication, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to K-12 students, including those in regular education, autistic, learning support, and life skills programs
  • Manage an elementary caseload of approximately 50-55 students, with some case management duties
  • Support middle and high school students, managing a caseload of around 60, focusing on direct service with minimal case management due to reduced service delivery for several students
  • Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and participate in multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines

This is an onsite role beginning August 18, 2026, and concluding May 27, 2027, aligned to a 35-hour workweek throughout the school year. Candidates must be available to serve district-wide locations in the York area.

If you’re ready to make a lasting impact as a valued SLP in a collaborative school environment, submit your resume with required certifications today. Your expertise can make a real difference for students and families!
