Advance your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting an engaging K-12 student population within a vibrant educational community. Two full-time, onsite SLPs are needed to serve throughout a district, collaborating directly with educators, students, and families to foster speech and language growth. The position covers both elementary and secondary campuses, providing you with a diverse and rewarding range of experiences.
You'll play a vital role in servicing regular education and autistic support caseloads at the elementary level (caseload of approximately 50-55, with some case management responsibilities). Secondary assignments include middle and high school students in learning support, life skills, and autistic support settings (caseload around 60, with minimal case management required). Several students are on reduced service models, allowing you to provide targeted, impactful interventions. All services are provided onsite, offering face-to-face engagement—virtual options are not available at this time.
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist Certification
- Valid teaching certificate (must be submitted with resume)
- SLP-CCC credential preferred and experience in school-based environments
- Familiarity with both general education and special needs populations
- Strong communication, case management, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement evidence-based speech and language therapy for K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and monitor progress
- Provide direct individual and group interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the district
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
This contract opportunity runs from August 18, 2026, through May 27, 2027, at 35 hours per week.
