You’ll have the opportunity to work with diverse student populations—ranging from elementary to high school—focusing on support, intervention, and skill development.
Open positions include:
- Elementary Autistic Support, high AAC usage, caseload of 45, no case management (Dover area)
- Middle Grades (4-8), a blend of regular education, learning support, life skills, autistic support, with both case management and related service duties (New Oxford area)
- One Building, Complex Needs, strong focus on AAC and interdisciplinary teamwork (York area), caseload of 45, no case management
- Secondary (high school), full or part time, transition planning, real-life skill development, caseload up to 55
Ideal background includes:
- Valid PA Speech-Language Pathology and Teaching Certificates
- SLP-CCC, Clinical Fellows (CFs accepted; supervision fee covered by agency), SLPA (accepted though not recognized in PA)
- School-based SLP experience, comfort with AAC, and familiarity with diverse student needs
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services in school settings
- Collaborate with teachers, OTs, PTs, and vision/hearing specialists as part of an integrated care team
- Develop and implement individualized education plans, focusing on communication goals
- Engage in transition planning and life-skills instruction as appropriate
