Step into a rewarding contract position serving K-12 students in a vibrant, supportive school community near York, PA. This full-time opportunity offers a dynamic workweek schedule from 8:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 35 hours across two school sites. You’ll have the chance to collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, working with a caseload of approximately 50-55 elementary-aged students, including those in both general and autism support classrooms.

In this role, you’ll deliver speech and language services, engage in some case management, and contribute meaningfully to student growth. The position is set to run from ASAP through May 27, 2027, with the potential for yearly extension.

Desired Background:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state SLP license or eligibility in Pennsylvania
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
  • Experience with elementary-age children and comfort supporting students with autism
  • Knowledge of school-based caseloads or experience as an SLPA in educational settings is a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to a range of elementary learners
  • Provide services to both regular education and autism support classrooms
  • Manage a diverse caseload across two buildings
  • Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and complete required documentation
  • Participate in team meetings and work closely with educators and families
