Job Type Contract

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting the communication development of young learners in a dynamic elementary school environment. This in-person position serves kindergarten and first-grade students with a focus on autistic support. You'll work across two elementary buildings, managing a caseload of approximately 50 students—split between case management (about 25 students) and providing related services (about 25 students). Embrace a fulfilling full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, roughly from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 2027.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
  • Experience working in school-based settings, ideally with kindergarten and first-grade populations.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices for supporting students with autism.
  • Familiarity with managing mixed caseloads, including acting as both case manager and provider of related services.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families.
  • Commitment to providing on-site, in-person services—remote or virtual work is not available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to assigned students, tailoring interventions to individual needs.
  • Serve as case manager for designated students, monitoring progress and maintaining thorough documentation.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support students primarily in kindergarten and first grade, fostering communication, social, and academic success.
  • Travel between two elementary school buildings as needed.

This is an excellent opportunity to positively impact students’ lives through collaborative and hands-on service in a supportive environment. If you’re ready to contribute your expertise as an SLP CCC and thrive in an in-person, school-based role, submit your application today to help shape students’ growth and development!
