This contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated SLPs interested in working with students ranging from kindergarten through 8th grade. With a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, you’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and staff, developing and implementing tailored interventions to help students reach their full communication potential.
Both new graduates (CFs) and experienced speech-language pathologists are encouraged to apply, as supervision and mentorship can be provided to help you succeed in a school-based setting.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Appropriate state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) welcomed
- Experience with K-8 populations is highly valued, but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments across K-8 grade levels
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions
- Document student progress, maintain records, and communicate goals with families and staff
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and consultations
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
