Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility
  • Current or pending SLP-CCC, or completion of clinical fellowship (CFY)
  • Comfortable working onsite within a school setting
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Passion for helping children succeed both academically and socially

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy for students with a variety of needs, ages, and abilities
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Design and implement individualized and group intervention plans
  • Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and communicate regularly with educational staff and families
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and members of the school support team
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for student plans
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning atmosphere for all students
