School Speech Language Pathologist - Yorktown, Virginia

You’ll have the chance to use your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to impact students with a variety of speech and language challenges.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience beneficial
• Solid communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a mixed-age caseload K-12 effectively
• Strong collaboration skills for working with families, staff, and support teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessment, intervention, and support for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain compliance documentation
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student goals
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to team-based planning
• Use current evidence-based practices and technology relevant to therapy
• Foster positive student relationships to motivate engagement
