Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students across multiple specialized programs for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position (35-37.5 hours per week, August through June) involves providing high-quality speech-language services in a dynamic educational environment. As the dedicated SLP on site, you’ll primarily collaborate with teams serving general education, special education, autism programs, and transition services, directly impacting the communication development of students with diverse needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Illinois state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Experience supporting K-12 students in any of the following: gen ed, ED/BD, autism, or transition programs preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP documentation and special education collaboration
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and provide direct therapy for a caseload that includes students from general education, ED/BD, autism, and transition programs
  • Serve 5 students at Nettle Creek (gen ed), 15 at River’s Edge Academy (ED/BD), 12 direct/3 consult at Saratoga Autism, and 5 direct/6 consult at Transition Learning Center
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Monitor progress, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult with staff and families to support student communication goals and generalization across settings
