Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Ohio SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
- Previous experience in pediatrics and/or school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech/language needs
- Deliver targeted, evidence-based therapy sessions in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with other educators, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Document student progress, maintain records, and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements
- Provide consultation and support to classroom teachers regarding student communication strategies
