Speech Language Pathologist in Ypsilanti, MI

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing essential speech and language services for the upcoming school year. Work closely with a dedicated team and support the communication development of K-12 learners in a dynamic academic setting. This contract role offers flexibility, with full-time hours available and consideration for part-time candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with individual education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations to determine students’ communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized goals and evidence-based interventions
• Collaborate with special education teachers, classroom staff, and families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary team discussions
• Deliver services onsite within the school setting

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• Open to Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) as well as experienced SLPs
• Experience working with K-12 students preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school-based team
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Must be able to provide onsite services (no remote positions available)
