Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing essential speech and language services for the upcoming school year. Work closely with a dedicated team and support the communication development of K-12 learners in a dynamic academic setting. This contract role offers flexibility, with full-time hours available and consideration for part-time candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with individual education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations to determine students’ communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized goals and evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with special education teachers, classroom staff, and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and multi-disciplinary team discussions
- Deliver services onsite within the school setting
Qualifications:
- Hold an active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Open to Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) as well as experienced SLPs
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school-based team
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must be able to provide onsite services (no remote positions available)
