Positions are available at both the elementary and early childhood levels, where you'll collaborate with passionate professionals and help students build essential communication skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan
- Prior experience in school settings preferred
- Expertise working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to supporting children of varied backgrounds and needs
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to integrate therapy into students’ academic programs
- Maintain accurate, timely progress notes and compliance documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
- Provide resources and support to school staff and families as needed
- Serve students at both Bishop Elementary and Model Early Childhood locations
