Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Ypsilanti, Michigan

This full-time, contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 24, 2026 and extending through June 4, 2027. Positions are available at both the elementary and early childhood levels, where you'll collaborate with passionate professionals and help students build essential communication skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan
• Prior experience in school settings preferred
• Expertise working with pediatric and school-aged populations
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Commitment to supporting children of varied backgrounds and needs

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to integrate therapy into students’ academic programs
• Maintain accurate, timely progress notes and compliance documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
• Provide resources and support to school staff and families as needed
• Serve students at both Bishop Elementary and Model Early Childhood locations
