Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Ypsilanti, Michigan

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early childhood learners with speech and language needs. A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide expert services from November 5 through February 2027, working 37.5 hours per week. This assignment focuses on “Early On” age groups, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference in children's foundational development.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active or eligible state licensure as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will also be considered
• Previous experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in an educational or early intervention setting
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for fostering growth and communication in young children

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges in early childhood students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support communication goals and IEP objectives
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy within school and early intervention environments
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive support strategies
• Track and report student progress, maintaining clear and detailed documentation
• Participate in professional development and team meetings to stay current with best practices
