School Speech Language Pathologist - Ypsilanti, Michigan

In this engaging role, you’ll provide much-needed speech and language services to schools in the Ypsilanti, MI area, utilizing your expertise from a remote setting. With an on-site proctor available, you’ll collaborate closely with school teams and ensure seamless support for students from now through June 10, 2027.

Ideal candidates will bring prior experience working in Michigan school settings and a genuine passion for helping children thrive academically and socially. Completion of Michigan fingerprinting is highly preferred, allowing for a smooth transition into the role.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
• Current Michigan SLP license in good standing
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience delivering teletherapy services in a K-12 school environment
• Familiarity with Michigan educational regulations and IEP processes
• Prior completion of Michigan state fingerprinting highly desired
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy remotely to a caseload of K-12 students
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and update IEPs as required
• Maintain regular communication with teachers, parents, and school teams
• Document student progress and adhere to district compliance standards
