Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred
- Strong collaboration skills to consult with teachers, administrators, and families
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
- Knowledge of IEP processes and compliance standards
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop, implement, and review individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver targeted therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports in line with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide recommendations and resources to staff and parents to enhance student outcomes
