School Speech Language Pathologist - Yukon, OK

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Oklahoma SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
• Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and document findings to determine students' speech and language abilities
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
• Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to share strategies that promote communication development
• Attend IEP meetings and participate in ongoing professional development as needed
