Qualifications and Requirements:
- Active Arizona Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Current Arizona Educator Certificate
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Previous experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, individualized therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop intervention plans, and implement therapeutic strategies tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication and language development
- Document progress, maintain detailed records, and ensure compliance with all applicable education and health regulations
- Attend required meetings, including IEPs, and provide professional recommendations for student success
- Adapt treatment to meet the diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds within the school community
