Make an impact this summer by supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting! A rewarding opportunity is open for a dedicated professional to provide ESY (Extended School Year) speech therapy services to children from birth through age 5. This short-term contract position begins June 8th and concludes June 25th, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday mornings—perfect for those seeking flexibility and a meaningful way to continue their clinical work during the summer months.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
  • State licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with early intervention services is highly desirable
  • Comfortable conducting evaluations for ages birth to 2 years
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services for students aged birth through 5 within an ESY program
  • Perform evaluations and develop individualized plans, especially for the birth to 2 age group
  • Work closely with teachers and families to support student communication goals
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school and state standards
  • Adapt therapy techniques to support diverse communication needs
