What you’ll need to bring:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active or eligible state licensure for Florida
  • Prior experience in K–12 school settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to fostering student progress, independence, and participation in the classroom

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments to students across grade levels
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress toward goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services onsite
  • Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
  • Engage with families to share strategies for carryover in home and classroom environments
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all required school documentation and reporting
