Step into a rewarding role supporting middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. Starting August 19, 2026, and continuing through an estimated end date of January 15, 2027, you'll collaborate within a vibrant educational setting near Zumbrota, MN. In this full-time position (40 hours per week), you will empower students in grades 5-7 to achieve their communication goals while working alongside dedicated educators and a supportive school community.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as an SLP (CCC, CFY, or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience with school-aged and/or pediatric populations, particularly middle school
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for helping students overcome speech, language, and communication challenges

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services for students in grades 5-7
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Consult with classroom staff to support generalization of skills and promote communication-friendly environments
  • Track student progress, adjust intervention strategies, and prepare progress reports
  • Support a positive and inclusive school climate through professional expertise and compassion
