Serving multiple campuses across the county, you’ll have the unique chance to make a meaningful impact on diverse student populations. Flexibility and a sense of adventure will serve you well, as this role involves traveling throughout the entire area to provide vital speech-language services.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida SLPA license in good standing
- Experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Confidence in working independently across multiple locations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to compassionate, student-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to K-12 students
- Assist or collaborate with onsite SLPs to implement therapy plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for student progress
- Travel to and serve assigned schools throughout the district
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support students in achieving their individual communication goals
