This contract opportunity is perfect for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) and Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) eager to work as part of a specialized program tailored for exceptional learners. You'll collaborate with an expert team utilizing innovative, individualized approaches and provide essential speech and language interventions that help students thrive.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state credential or license for Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or Clinical Fellow, as applicable
  • Demonstrated expertise working with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
  • Experience or strong interest in supporting students with ASD or other learning differences in educational settings
  • Adaptability, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset
  • Commitment to fostering growth, autonomy, and life skills in high school-aged students

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services as part of an interdisciplinary team, emphasizing student strengths and needs
  • Integrate AAC technology into student programs, customizing communication strategies for individual learners
  • Support goal-directed skill development leading toward increased independence for each student
  • Document session progress, collaborate with classroom staff, and provide ongoing input to IEPs and planning processes
  • Participate in relevant training and professional development sessions throughout the assignment
