Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
  • Valid SLPA license in the state or eligibility to obtain one
  • Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfort working as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Ability to manage a caseload and maintain accurate session notes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Follow treatment plans and utilize evidence-based interventions targeting expressive/receptive language, articulation, social communication, and fluency
  • Collect and record data on student progress toward IEP goals
  • Support SLPs in preparing materials, documenting services, and collaborating with teachers and families
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student success
