Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
- Valid SLPA license in the state or eligibility to obtain one
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfort working as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Ability to manage a caseload and maintain accurate session notes
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Follow treatment plans and utilize evidence-based interventions targeting expressive/receptive language, articulation, social communication, and fluency
- Collect and record data on student progress toward IEP goals
- Support SLPs in preparing materials, documenting services, and collaborating with teachers and families
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student success
