Embark on an enriching assignment as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, supporting elementary students in a well-respected school district near Andover, MN. This contract opportunity runs from February 17th, 2026, through June 5th, 2026, offering structured hours—37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance students' communication skills and overall learning experiences across various elementary school settings.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license is required (must be in hand, not pending) for interview consideration.
  • Previous school-based experience as an SLPA or in a pediatric educational setting is strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of speech and language developmental milestones and student-centered intervention strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language services to elementary-aged students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Support students with diverse communication needs in both individual and small group settings.
  • Assist in developing and implementing speech-language interventions and activities.
  • Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and district policies.
  • Participate in team meetings, contribute to student progress reports, and collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to support student goals.
