Make a difference in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in an engaging contract role based near Annapolis, MD. This itinerant position spans across five schools, serving students in grades K-12, with the opportunity to work collaboratively alongside a dedicated team that includes two experienced SLPs and another SLPA. Enjoy a flexible schedule—both full-time (37.5 hours/week) and part-time options are available to fit your needs.

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid Maryland SLPA license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students across a broad age and ability range (K-12)
  • Willingness to travel between school locations as an itinerant professional
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for supporting student growth

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to assigned students under SLP supervision
  • Support SLPs with therapy planning, documentation, and data tracking
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff, as well as other team members, to implement speech and language IEP goals
  • Engage in a mix of service delivery models (pull-out, push-in, small group, 1:1) based on student needs and settings
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training for professional growth
